What are the Curtain Callers?
The Curtain Callers of North Carolina Theatre provide voluntary assistance to the theatre in a variety of ways. Membership is open to anyone who has the desire to volunteer at the theatre and wishes to contribute their time, talents, energies and enthusiasm. Curtain Callers can be seen helping out in the costume shop, stuffing envelopes in the office, greeting ticket holders at the doors of Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, selling merchandise in the theatre lobby or serving home-cooked meals to the cast and crew of various NCT productions.

What else do the Curtain Callers do?
In addition to volunteer work, Curtain Callers also raise money for scholarships to Summer Theatre Arts School (STAS). In 2005 and 2006, this group provided complete and partial scholarships to talented young theatre students. The money is raised through merchandise sales, silent bids and generous donations.
