NC Theatre is thrilled for its premiere production of CATS! With a plot based on T.S Eliot’s "Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats" and award-winning music composed by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, CATS first opened on the West End stage in 1981 and went on to earn seven Tony Awards. It has since become one of the world’s best-known and best-loved musicals. It became the second-longest running show on Broadway and has been presented in over 20 countries. It has truly lived up to its motto "Now and Forever."

News & Observer says CATS "reconfirms N.C. Theatre’s status as the Southern tip of Broadway" and calls it a "visual, toe-tapping feast that can be enjoyed by the whole family."
