North Carolina Theatre will hold three different auditions on Saturday, April 12th.

PETER PAN
A musical based on the play by James M. Barrie. Music by Mark Charlap;
lyrics by Carolyn Leigh.
Directed by Stephen Terrell. Starring Ira David Wood III as Captain Hook.
Seeking to cast: Wendy, Michael and John Darling, Tiger Lily, the Lost Boys, Mrs. Darling, Pirates, Indians and other adult chorus and dance roles.
Performances are July 11th through July 20th in Raleigh Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Rehearsals are June 28th through July 11th at NC Theatre Studios and Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. Click here for tentative rehearsal schedule.

NC Theatre’s Kids on Broadway production of
WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND
Based on the novel by Mary Hayley Bell and the screenplay by Willis Hall and Keith Waterhouse and the film by Richard Attenborough Bryan Forbes adapted by Russell Labey and Richard Taylor with music and lyrics by Richard Taylor.
Directed by John Simpkins, New York University’s
Department of Music and Performing Arts.
Seeking to cast approximately 20 performers. All roles, including adult characters, are open and will be cast from the 2:00pm audition for ages 8 to 21.
Performances are September 13th – 21st in AJ Fletcher Opera Theatre at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, with special encore performances in North Raleigh September 26th – 28th. Rehearsals are August 18th through September 26th. The cast of this show will miss one day of school due to the special daytime encore performance on September 26th. Kids auditions for both Peter Pan and Whistle Down the Wind are at 2:00pm. Sign-in begins at 1:00pm.
Other auditions for Peter Pan are as listed above; sign-in begins one hour prior to audition start time.
All auditioning (including dancers) must sing 16 bars of an up-tempo musical theatre song. Be prepared to sing more than 16 bars if asked.
